Most Kiwis know NZ was the first country in the world to grant women universal suffrage. or the right to vote.

To this day there a countries in the world where women and certain cohorts of individuals cannot vote. If you are eligible, get enrolled or update your details, and make sure you can vote on 23 September 2017.

To be eligible to enrol you need to have been back to New Zealand in the last 3 years, and be 18 plus.

There are plenty of options under the MMP system.
